Sometimes it’s hard finding time to make a good breakfast in the morning. This is one of my staples because it is healthy, filling, and pretty quick to make!
I love it so much that I sometimes make it for a quick lunch, as well. (not on the same days that I had it for breakfast, though. haha!)
Another great thing, is that it is a portable breakfast (as long as it isn’t runny in the middle). So you can grab and take it in the car on the way to work.
Egg in a Toast
butter for the pan and toast
Toast a slice of bread. Put some butter on it (optional), then cut a hole in it. Put it on a hot pan (with a little butter on the pan so nothing sticks), then crack an egg over top of it and put it in the hole. Let it cook on the one side and then flip it and cook on the other side. done!
tip: cook it longer if you want it to be cooked all the way through. If you like it a little bit runny in the middle, then cook it until each side looks cooked well.
