Ice cream without added sugar. Sound too good to be true? Well, I guess it is, because it’s not technically ice cream, but it tastes like it! This “Ice cream” is brought to you by natures most versatile fruit – the BANANA!!
Its super easy too! first, you need to slice up your bananas the night before and put them in the freezer. The next day when they are good and frozen, you get them out and let them sit a few minutes so that you can break them up and put them in your food processor.
Banana Ice Cream
2 bananas sliced and frozen
1/4 c. milk (I use vitamin d milk – but you could probably use whatever)
blend blend blend!! put into your food processor and blend until smooth!
It comes out to the consistency of soft serve ice cream.
You can add all the toppings that you would with normal ice cream. It does have a slight banana taste, but I really like it! If you don’t, I’m sure you could mask the taste with chocolate and some crushed walnuts. Have fun and enjoy! 🙂
